The dinner was value for money and excellent. One of the best meals I have had in France. Fish was fresh and nicely cooked and steak was cooked as my husband had ordered - well done!. Wine list reasonable.
The double bed sagged in the middle - time to change it.

Good restaurant, comfortable room.
I don't have any problems personally but my colleague who was in the "Pavillon" part was cold in the night, apparently there was a heating problem in the room.

Very clean hotel with a nice family feel to the place. The evening meal was very nice and service very good.
The receptionist could have been a little friendlier, a smile never hurts!

The hotel is in a very beautiful building and the grounds are lovely too. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. As a room only option this would be a reasonable choice.
The bar and restaurant were overpriced. The restaurant setting was very nice but the quality of the dinner was fair only and quite highly priced and the wine was awful! WiFi did not work in our room. We stayed at another hotel the following night where for half the price we had an excellent and far superior meal and for 20% of the price a very nice house wine. I would recommend the hotel on a room only casis and suggest going into Chateaubriant to eat.

Staying at this stunning hotel was a total game-changer! The separate modern annex blew my mind with its top-notch facilities. Our room was an absolute dream with its comfy bed and luxurious shower. The conservatory offered a jaw-dropping view of the grounds and the 3-course meal was simply out of this world. Breakfast was a delicious treat, and the staff? Wow! They were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our overnight stop here was absolutely wonderful!
